Freedom is not free. Equity is not complimentary.

Dignity is not given without demand. 

It takes all of us giving what we can, no matter how little, to fund the continued work against opression.

The dollar a month club is inspired by the example of our elders and the sacrifices they made during the 1960's era of the Civil Rights Movement. We watched our mothers and grandmothers save their pennies and walk across county lines to mail in donations to the NAACP. We heard the stories of our fathers and grandfathers facing down racist and angry bosses to earn money for their families then send a portion to help other Black men fighting similar battles. 

The NAACP of Missouri is not funded by the National Organization. We are dependent on direct donations and support from the Local Branches here in Missouri.

We are asking everyone to be a part of this fight by giving as little as $1 per month.
